There’s a new fish in the sea...

We’re very excited to announce today that Plenty of Fish has a brand new look! You’ll see our new tone, look and feel on the platform today, if you haven’t noticed already.

Why the new logo?

At Plenty of Fish, we’re evolving, and so has our logo. Our new fish was designed using the iconic original, overlayed with concentric circles. Lots of colorful layers, just like you. The bright new colors reflect the welcoming, low-pressure dating environment we’ve always been and will continue to be. So dip your toes or dive right in, the journey is yours.

Hi there, great question! We’ve recently implemented 2-factor verification and that’s why we’re asking for your phone number. But, if you don’t have a mobile phone number, you can email us directly at [email protected] and will assist you. Thank you!

    Hi,
I can’t figure out how to “favorite” someone. There is no link or button to click on the new format. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hi Peter, thanks for reaching out to us. We are actually retiring favorites but we’re rolling out a very similar feature in the next few weeks. This feature will allow you to bookmark other members.

Thank you, Kate. Without the ability to favorite or bookmark members, it would make POF unviable., Glad to hear something akin to Favorites is forthcoming. Will we be able to find out who bookmarked us? Also, I noticed that I can no longer find several members since the changeover.
Another point is that when I specify how far away someone could be from a certain city, the site ignores the distance I select. E.g., I selected 150 km distance from a small suburb, the site ignored the large range of other towns that were less then 150 km. Seems the webmaster needs to make the distance range operate accurately. That would help immensely,
It seems that the new format was rolled out before it was working properly, but I hope it will soon regain the functionality of the old POF site.
