Creepy DMs, surprise crotch shots and unsolicited nudes happen, there’s no denying it. In fact, over 50% of women report receiving a dick pic they never asked for—gross, right? We believe in making online dating feel welcoming again, because for every dick out there, there’s thousands of nice people just looking to find someone they click with.

So what are we doing to keep the dick pics safely stored in camera rolls and the bad behaviour at bay? While sending nudes or derogatory messages has always been prohibited on POF, we know that people get caught up in the moment and say and do things they regret. Our “Are You Sure?” feature was launched to help you make a better first impression.
We will flag any first messages that might be offensive and send a pop up asking if you’re sure you want to go ahead and send it. You’ll have the option to delete it, adjust or send the message anyway (don’t say we didn’t warn you!)
Dick pics won’t ever fully go away, but we have a dedicated moderation team that removes all images that break our Community Guidelines. Nudes are removed within minutes of being uploaded, but if in the unlikely event we miss something, just click Report Profile and it will be taken down within 24 hours.
