Go all out with a couples costume
For those of you who live for planning a top-notch costume, it can be even more fun to create one as a couple. Look up some ideas and spend a day perusing thrift shops looking for the perfect pieces to complete your look. Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party or attending one, make sure to make time to get ready together as a couple and don’t forget to snap some pics!
-
Have a scary movie marathon
Who doesn’t love cuddling up on the couch for a movie night! Pick one movie each and agree to watch whatever your partner chooses. Or, if you need the light of day in order to make it through a scary film, make a day of it and pick two movies each! Don’t forget a Halloween themed snack.
Need some movie ideas? Some of my personal favourites are A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Conjuring, A Quiet Place, and The Blair Witch Project
Can’t handle the horror genre? Opt for a satire horror flick like Cabin in the Woods, Shaun of the Dead, or Scary Movie.

Host a murder mystery night
If you and your partner are up for some planning, hosting your own murder mystery night is a super fun way to spend your Halloween. You can purchase a murder mystery kit that sets you up with a unique story and casts your guests as characters. Everyone comes dressed up as their assigned persona and you’ll spend the evening trying to figure out ‘whodunit.’
