Everybody can appreciate an epic love story. So today, we’re thrilled to announce The PlentyOfFish $100,000 Wedding Contest!

We’re inviting all engaged couples who met on PlentyOfFish to submit their love stories for a chance to win a grand prize of $100,000 to put towards a wedding, honeymoon, or starting a life together! Countless success stories already line the walls of our offices, but we decided it was time to celebrate all of the couples who decided to give love a chance and join PlentyOfFish!

All couples will be asked to submit 4 photos, the story of how they met and fell in love, and an explanation of why they deserve to win the grand prize. Submissions will be accepted between December 27, 2012 and January 14, 2013.The most unique, creative and original submissions will be entered into the first round of the contest where PlentyOfFish users will be asked to vote for their favorite couples. The couples who receive the most votes during Round 1 will advance to Round 2 of voting. The grand prize winner of the $100,000 cash prize will be rewarded to the couple who collects the most votes in Round 2.

This is a life-changing opportunity for some very special couples, and just so happens to be the biggest giveaway we’ve ever done…seems Christmas came a little late this year! We’re looking forward to reading some pretty amazing stories, so we have a tissue box on hand.

To start the submission process, please follow this link – http://www.pof.com/contest_about.aspx

Cheers, we’re rooting for you!

    Hi Shannon,

Would you pls contact me regarding
“tag line of our love story”…
We would like to use our catchy title but
are concerned that it might be too out there.
    They are fish related terms.
Just would hate to use and be disqualified over choice of words.
Are you the person we can find out thru?
Thanks in advance for your time.
    So excited about this contest!!!

Me and my fiance met on Plenty of Fish back in 2009. We started talking and found we had alot in common. We then decided to meet and have been together ever since. I found out about a year into our relationship that I can not have children. So we decided that it was ok since my fiance had 2 girls from a previous marriage. I now live with and help my fiance take care of his 2 girls as if they were my own.
We have had it really tough for about 2 years since my husband injured his back and is now disabled. We are currently fighting the VA and SSI to get him some sort of income but we are extremely tight on cash. So the wedding of my dreams has become a $400 wedding in Gatlinburg, TN with just my parents, his mother and our two girls. I would love to be able to have my friends and extended family at my wedding but just can’t afford it.
I feel we deserve to win this contest as we met on Plenty of Fish and are engaged and ready to be married on April 2nd of this year. We are not looking for a hand out but we appreciate what we have and would love to give my future wife the wedding of her dreams since she can’t have children.

I have a fabulous story to enter in the wedding contest, but it seems almost impossible to cancel one’s POF membership which is a condition for entry.
Any suggestions anyone, or might the whole contest, dare I say it, be a scam of some sort ?
Miraculously, I did find a Vancouver phone number for POF which I plan to try tomorrow ( Mon. Jan. 14th ), and NO I don’t plan to share the number with anyone else.

My fiance and I met January 5 2012. We Both had been through our fare share of relationship let downs. We talked first and found that we had many views and relationship problems the same. We even found out that we went to the same summer camp in the past! We connected on so many different levels. We grew closer as time progressed and various dates and holidays that we shared together. Even here son has grown to accept me and his mother being together. We expressed our love for each other more and more over time. I prayed and asked god to send me a sign to let me knowif this woman (ARMSTRONG 28) was the one for me. One day I just woke up and knew I wanted her to be my wife and proposed to her Christmas eve after asking her family’s permission of course. Now we are saving to have our wedding sometime in 2014. Thanks POF for making our relationship possible.

Just wanna say POF really works! I was single for 3 years and REALLY lonely. One day my moms friend suggested I try POF. At first I was hesitant bit eventually gave it a shot. I talked to a few guys but one day I went outside my city and came across a very cute guy! I messaged him and he quickly responded. We chated for an hour! We became very close FAST!! We then started talking on the phone and finally met in person. It was LOVE at first sight! Long story short- We are now ENAGED!!! We plan on getting married next September!!! Thanks POF!!!!
