What, if any, are the differences between messages women and men receive on POF?
‘Hey cutie, what’s up?’ might not be the best thing to send to a girl, but how does a guy feel about that?
So, in order to get some perspective on this, myself and a male co-worker at POF’s offices have compared inbox messages we’ve received from the opposite sex, and decoded them together.
So here it goes: Our own little thoughts, comments and disagreements over online dating messages.

“You are the most beautiful fish in the oceaaan 🙂 !!! How are you doing today?!?”
“Spell check? Whose got time for that? YOLO ;)”

“Where in Germany are you from? I travelled through Europe this past year. Was an amazing experience.”
“Come. Sex. Meow.”
“Hey, my friend claims you’re a fake! I bet $20 that you are real. So what do you say?”
“What makes a girl real to you?”
“How’s your week so far? U have a nice smile:)”
“Peeked on your profile. Thought I’d say hi”
“(Insert loud buzzer noize!)”
“Hey deepsixprime, Murphy3110 is interested in you!”

To be honest, I already knew but on POF those don’t work. Already tried the ‘ask a question’ message and nothing.
