We’re back, we’re sorry, and we missed you!
For those of you who tried to log into your Plenty of Fish account over the past 12 hours or so, you were greeted with our dreaded error message. We’re here to make dating fun for you, and tech issues are definitely the opposite of fun. We dropped the ball, and we’re sorry to leave you and your dates in limbo for so long.
We know you all probably have a million burning questions about what on earth happened, and we don’t blame you. We’re here to put your minds at ease without going into too many boring (and honestly, confusing) behind-the-scenes details. The bottom line – we had a hardware issue that took way longer than expected to get back up and running. We know what you really care about most is your privacy (and so do we!), so we want to make sure you know that absolutely no data went outside our walls or app.
Even though we’re back to our regular scheduled programming now, we know it wasn’t fun to be offline for so long. Because we appreciate all our awesome members, we’re giving out 20 Live! credits to anyone who was impacted. The credits can be put towards anything on Live! Including gifting your favorite streamers.
All you have to do is reach out to our support team through our Help Centre and send through a ticket within 24 hours (from when this was posted) mentioning you’re looking for your free credits. Our team is handling more messages than usual, so they might be slow to respond, but rest assured you’ll get your credits within 30 days.
