Baby Zoomers

Getting caught out by your partner for using outlandish excuses inspired by Dominic Cummings.
Bradying
(/braid-e-ing)
Ending a long-term relationship despite friends and family thinking you’re making a mistake.

(/kawz-play-ing/)
When a casual relationship fizzles out, only to have one person later circle back with a favor to ask (usually about supporting a good cause).
Cohabidating
(/ko-ha-ba-date-ing/)
Shacking up with your new partner in a hurry to relieve financial stress, even though you may not be quite ready yet.

Cricketing
(/krik-it-ing/)
Leaving someone on “read” for too long and taking much too long to continue the conversation.
Dial-Toning
(/dahy-uh l-tohn-ing/)

Adopting the interests or hobbies of someone you’re dating after pretending you like them too.
Endgame-ing

Ghostbusting
(/ghost-bugst-ing/)

Glamboozled
(/glam-boo-zuh l’d/)
Getting fully done up for a date only to have them cancel or your plans fall through at the last minute.
Grande-ing
(/grahn-day-ing/)
Personal celebration after a break-up, as made popular by Ariana Grande.
Hey & Pray
(/Hey and prey)
Indiscriminately spamming every match with a basic “Hey there,” “hey you,” “Hey,” “Hi,” and praying that someone will respond and be interested.

Sanitizing
(/san-i-tahyz-ing)
The act of wiping your social media of all photographic evidence of a past relationship.
Scrooging

Type-Casting

Exclusively dating people based on Myers-Briggs Type or “Love Language” compatibility.
Vulturing
(/vul-ture-ing/)
Becoming much more romantically interested in someone when you sense their relationship is about to break up, and swooping in to woo them.
